Living/Family Room
Let us help you design your room to accommodate that big screen TV or the cozy fireside seating you have always dreamed of. Family rooms are full of personality these days and often reflect the leisure activities of the people who live there. Do you have a special hobby you wish to pursue or a prized collection that should be displayed? We can show you how to provide space for these things when planning your room design.
A wall between the kitchen and den was removed so the homeowner could interact with guests while cooking. Dark wood bookcases on either side of the fireplace were removed, and a fresh coat of paint throughout gave the area a more open and light-filled appearance.
The added bookcase wall, pine paneling, and bar make this space suitable for family relaxation or casual entertaining.
Bathrooms
A soothing master bed and bath retreat is like having your own private spa just a few steps away. Amenities such as a marble tile tub and a spacious, soothing shower accented by special windows and an elegant chandelier take the stress out of preparing for your day, or an evening on the town. How about adding some body jets to that shower, or a skylight over the tub? We can help you choose just that custom touch to make you feel pampered - like taking a vacation and never leaving home!
This powder room (above image) was formerly very dated. The newly installed Alabama marble (image to left) provides a background for the striking vanity and the unique tile backsplash. It is now a real showplace for use by guests!
Glass blocks are an innovative way to increase light while maintaining privacy!

This is the BEFORE image of the award winning bathroom shown in the image below.
An addition to the master bedroom provided the space needed for this unique bathroom. A Japanese soaking tub is the focus & helps to provide a “spa-like” atmosphere. The repeating circles that step down from the limestone vanities to the tub to the shower give an illusion of flowing water. The use of slate & glass with warm woods & wall colors contribute to creating a place that is both soulful & rejuvenating. This was our 2003 award winning Parade of Homes Entry. This elegant bathroom is an excellent example of the type of bathroom remodeling project we can do for you.
Kitchen Remodeling
No matter whether your taste runs Traditional or Contemporary, good kitchen design begins with proper layout of the various workstations. Efficiency of motion and the time honored design principle of "form follows function" work together in to create a truly great kitchen. Everything has a place when an inventory of kitchen equipment precedes the design. Our designer will work with you to help you define your needs and then show you how `to bring it all together for a beautiful, functional, remodeled kitchen.

Before
The homeowner wanted an updated look for this 25 year old kitchen and an enlarged laundry/craft area on the main floor. The existing spaces in the living & dining areas were reconfigured to give the owner the space wanted.

After
The homeowners now have new kitchen cabinets, decorative tile flooring, and updated countertops that gave them the look they desired.
Before
This typical 70's kitchen was not up to the needs of an amateur chef. The space was redesigned to accommodate professional level appliances. The photo shown below illustrates the kitchen remodeling project after completion.
After
The countertop area was increased & culminates in a rounded table top so guests can be seated in the middle of the action. In this kitchen remodeling job, the bar area was added and a new opening created into the den. This area created spaces for preparation and storage.
Before
This typical 70’s kitchen was radically transformed into a more open & functional space with the sleek, more contemporary look preferred by the homeowner.

After
The end result still is in keeping with the traditional look of the exterior of the home.
A small, inefficient 70’s kitchen was expanded and opened into a larger den/keeping area. An existing carport was utilized for the new space. A new laundry area was created that contains additional storage. The new island accommodates seating as well as cookbook space, so there is room for working as well as eating.
Changes may range from changing countertops and colors to adding an island, new appliances, new cabinets, and totally altering the arrangement of the room. We are here to assist you in your kitchen remodeling project.

This was another challenge in matching the existing style of the house and the existing brick.
We also wanted the addition to match the garge wing on the right side.
The addition on the left contains a new accessible main-level master bedroom suite which is compatible with the rest of the house.
