This typical 70's kitchen just was not up to the needs of an amateur chef.  The space was redesigned to accommodate professional level appliances.  The countertop area was increased & culminates in a rounded table top so guests can be seated in the middle of the action.  The bar area was added and a new opening created into the den.  This area created  spaces for preparation and storage.
